Hope ppl living in Malaysia can help get quotes oso.(Think you all book will be cheaper :p) If malaysia that side is cheaper, Maybe can help ask what buses go to the jetty from Larkin.

for those tat worry about not knowing how to swiim, do not worry i can teach you all how to get use to the water and snorkel. There will be life jackects to keep you afloat so its quite safe too.
for those that know breast stroke way fo kicking and not free style way of kicking i won recommend getting the fins :)

hmm... i work in tourist supplying company. during Apr and May, LangTengah will be much beautiful than Redang.
besides, Redang soft coral is dead.
where langtengah close to the beach oredy got coral both hard and soft coral. clown fish and baby shark can see within 100m frm beach.
the sea color close to the beach is navy.
thats wut i found out from my company lol
and i know one agent from redang, name Redang Pelangi, not yet contact him.
so m'sia part i can try to contact.

i hav compared both packages it seem the redang trip is more worth it. there is one more snorkelling trip and cheaper i think.
moory i contacted the pellangi there the resort it seems there are fully booked on those dates

u never mentioned you scolded by me? yes, i am very busy.. work till 2plus last 2 days and just reached home today.. but make a call to my cousin wont take so much of my time.. but problem is she was at taiwan last sat and today and tomorrow is her sister, my cousin's wedding. so i assume that she will be very busy and of course she is not working.. so i couldn't get her to quote the prices.
sobs i think im not going to join u guys.i calculated month May i'll be spending much $ on medical fees. thats why im afraid cant afford to join the trip.

IF there is no more other quotes by 29th of Mar, I suggest that we just take this package and go ahead with it. I believe that this good Friday long weekend will have a lot of people like us, making redang as their holiday destination. Thus I am really concern if there is any rooms left for us. We need to know the amount of people that is confirm going to plan the rooms. So far from what i have read, Kim Kim, Lego, Jan, hua and me have indicate that they will be going. If i have left out anyone please indicate after my comment. Thank you.

The cheaper price is the "early bird" price. The one hua put up is "snorkeling package" price. Not sure if "early bird" means "snorkeling package" booked early. Can Ice or Lego call from M'sia to ask?

Next Agenda : Transportation
I have a question though. For the Boat ride to Redang, do we just board the boat and pay? Or its issued by the Redang Bay package? Or like Msia bus System we need to buy in advance? Can't really remember.
As for people living in sg, my sources from hua the boat ride is at 930-10am. I think we may need to leave sg at thurs night, reach there earlier and wait for the boat. The problem now is finding transportation to Murang jetty. Give me a bit of time for this pls ty.
Ok everybody good news! Cover jus sms me and she will be requesting her cousin to book the redang resort for us on 28th mar. So please indicate that you will be coming.

I was reading through the comments again and moo moo ask us to take pictures of us snorkelling :)
Moo Moo my camera have underwater casing:) If you are thinking about that olympus one its not very good. Last time i ask i think it goes as deep as 10 metres only i am not very sure.
If you wan to get a camera then get an external case and it can go as deep as 30 metres. Which is what we divers considered as deep dives already :)
I remember my first deep dive its like after a certain depth u will find that there is a sharp drop in bouyancy and water temperature xp
I sure will take alot of photo. pick piak pick piak hehe.
