In my point of view, that is our commitment to read our blog. If everyone of us did not read the blog, what is the meaning of the existence of our blog?
From starting until now, we expect everyone to read blog and reply everything here also. For me, I used to check the blog everyday. So I can know every activities that we are going to organize and I won't miss it.
You are welcome to join us anytime. Besides, you can also take your initiative to ask for any outing. We did not mean to 'throw' anyone in a side. We are human being and we do mistakes, right? I think blog is the best way to let us communicate. You could not deny that every of the activities ran smoothly through here, right?
If we have to sms everyone if there is any outing, that is quite troublesome also. You cannot expect we keep repeating in telling everyone about outing when someone log on, right?
Anyway, I did not mean to blame anyone. It is just my point of view. You might not agree with me and it is ok for me.

For me i seldom read the blog but if i missed an outing and the event is posted on the blog, i will blame myself for not reading the blog and miss miss lor still hv other outings ma. ^^ miss this one go the other lor if miss again then wait for the next lor. No harm done de. Our guild soo many outings miss one or afew nvrmind de cos there is always another jus around the coner. Actually i also forgotten abt this outing lol soo pai seh. Cos i knw i cannot make it so erased it from my memory and my memory only 32mb nia cannot put too much tings. hohoho

Tot gathering is a good way to communicate and call ppl who dont attend much - a chance to say hi and how are they doing. This is how i treat my friends. Aiyo, y make such a big fuss about this outing? Jus a small matter. Anyway, I did remember we did agree to use blog as a means of communication cos i remember something similar happened. SO we did state to use blog as a communication tool.
As I mention to all, the invite to my house is last minute and nothing big about it. I din invite Pheng, but she came to know about it, and call to ask if she can come over. All are welcome. We are all one big family. Don't let such a small thing spoil our relationship.

Anyway - u are right we are "family" so call. I still treasure no matter wat. I one who say now becos i fed up now. 15 min u ask me I totally smiling at u becos it behind my head. Of cos when it pop again, I get aggitated once more.

Walau, why need to discuss so deeply about one issue?
I only have one point of view. Everyone has internet connection plus a laptop/PC. If one can log on internet and maple, one can easily come in check blog.
To some, our guild may not have alot of people. But every outing need to sms everyone and then reply everyone when those everyone reply, honestly that someone will soon cease to organise outings. Instead of that someone having to take up the responsibility to make sure everyone is informed and take note of who can go, who cannot go, why cannot go, blah blah blah why don't we take up the responsibility to check the blog?
Again, this is yet another personal point of view I share. I don't need anyone to agree, as this is how I take my own responsibility in appearing during gatherings. If I miss it, my fault cause I didn't make that effort to check.
For your information, I'm on the internet now on a borrowed modem. I only get to log on to the internet once or twice a week for maybe an hour to do my work. I take 5 mins from there to update myself by reading all the comments. I may/may not have time to reply, but I am updated.
So much so, I guess we should end this thread here and decide ourselves how we want to make this work. If SMS a good idea, maybe we should come out with a buddy system or whatever, where one person is in charge of informing the other one. But then again, why do you need to be responsible for others? Say I'm selfish. Think, friends.
